Women are more likely to lead through inspiration, transforming people’s attitudes and beliefs, and aligning people with meaning and purpose.

COVID-19 has raised the idea that women are better political leaders than men, an idea whose currency stems that female leaders in places like New Zealand and Taiwan have been more successful in curbing and combating the virus.

While the crux of that idea remains in debate, it underscores what has been established: women are more likely to lead through inspiration, transforming people’s attitudes and beliefs, and aligning people with meaning and purpose. Women tend to be less partisan, more collaborative, listen better, find common ground - helping all of us better.

Women are 51% of the population of the U.S. and 56% of the conventional workforce. Yet men still hold 70 - 75% of elected offices nationwide. To get to 50/50 we must grasp the full range for political offices, running and winning at local and country levels where critical decisions on daily life are made - and where women will gain the experience to move to other offices and positions of leadership by 2028.
