As advisor to the Nissan U.S. Board of Directors, I was recently a guest speaker at one of Nissan’s virtual conversations to celebrate Black History Month.

I shared my insights on how to deal with and grow your career in the automotive industry as a female Black professional.

The dialogue was as lively as I expected and I hope I provided relevant perspectives and useful advice.

I would like to leave my fellow collogues and any other diverse professionals off with this sentiment on Diversity and Inclusion: You cannot choose to be diverse, but you can choose to be included.
