“Our approach varies family by family. For some families, we don’t discuss the approach and the methodology and we don’t show the equation because it can be off-putting. Oftentimes families might think that we’re trying to reduce human behavior to an equation. That’s in fact not what we’re doing. The equation is a qualitative measure and it’s not quantitative in any way. For those who are receptive to it, and when we realize that this is something that we think will help them we will go ahead and show it. As we break down for them using the components imbued with the specific examples of what their experience has been, that allows them to see in moving color. That knowledge is super helpful for them.”
